Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American actress, model, writer as well as an animal rights activist. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 72 are among her most well-known films. In New York, she was born and brought up in an artistic family. After working as an assistant to photographers then she turned her attention to modeling and acting. MacGraw was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. MacGraw became a household name following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was considered for nomination to the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. Within just three short films, she became the top female box office actress across the globe. In Grauman's Chinese Theater, in 1972, she had her name and footprints hand-engraved. She has starred in several other movies, including The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among many others. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, was released. MacGraw has been married three times.
