Ina Garten is an American writer of cookery cookbooks and Emmy Award-winning host for Food Network's oldest program Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 has 27 seasons to 2020. Ina started her career as a writer for the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and policy papers. Though she initially found it fascinating, eventually she became bored. She then bought an Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food shop. It was a huge success for 18 years before she decided to let it go. Then she began writing her first cookbook. In the following years, numerous cookbooks were published and she also wrote columns for magazines. Her Food Network TV show also made its debut with great success. Ina sells a variety of things, from food ingredients food preparation to kitchenware, storage and even cooking equipment. Ina never went to an institution for cooking or did she work in a dining establishment. She is entirely self-taught. She's known for her easygoing style of creating and entertaining. Her most well-known recipes include simple recipes such as Skillet Roasted Lemon Chicken Macaroni and Cheese with Beef Bourguignon and Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
