Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American writer, performer and performer most famous for her role as Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. She began acting as a stage performer in the 1950s, beginning with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. In the 1950s, she appeared as a stage artist in a few Broadway plays before breaking through into national fame with the release of Li'l Abner' in 1957. That same year, she made her debut album of music It's time for Tina. Louise first made it to Hollywood as Griselda Walden, in God's Small Acre, a film from 1957 that was a dramatic. This movie was an enormous success and Louise even won the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. While in New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her relationship and friendship with Lee Strasberg. She signed on with CBS in 1964 to portray Ginger Grant. Louise maintained a successful career balancing Broadway television and Hollywood as well as portraying a more serious, as opposed to her glamour-doll image received. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She has also appeared in SG-1 and Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's earned a reputation as a director on several popular TV shows like Supernatural. She was born in Essex on August 28, 1965 and her family moved to Toronto when she was just three which is where she spent the rest of in the adolescent years and childhood. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver in Canada following her choice for the lead role.
